Allied Health Campus Visit Day

The Allied Health Campus Visit Day offers prospective students the opportunity to learn about both the Master of Science in Anesthesia program and the Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant program. These sessions allow students to learn from a representative from the Office of Admissions as well as faculty and staff for both degree programs. Prospective students will have the opportunity to ask questions of the Admissions Coordinator for the Graduate Programs and program faculty and/or staff. Visits will occur in small groups with other prospective applicants.

This information session will allow students to gain an understanding about the traditional four year M.D. program, the medical school and the admissions process. The visit consists of an information session and tour of the School of Medicine. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the docent experience, academic and financial support, and will be provided with a good understanding of life as an M.D. student at UMKC. Visits will occur in small groups with other prospective applicants.

B.A./M.D. Campus Visit Day

The Campus Visit Day begins on the UMKC Volker Campus with an overview of UMKC and the BA/MD program and includes a tour of the Volker Campus. Students and families will then travel to the Hospital Hill Campus to interact with School of Medicine students and staff, and participate in hands-on activities related to medicine. Most activities will include parent participation, but bringing young children is not advised. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m., and the visit day concludes at 12:30 pm.
