The UMKC School of Medicine will be participating in the West County Private High School College Fair. Prospective students and guests can stop by the UMKC table to visit with an Admissions Representative and pick up program information.

Coffee Talks – St. Louis
Sep 12 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

For students who may not be able to schedule a visit to the School of Medicine, or for those who would like additional information, we offer the opportunity to learn more about the School of Medicine through meeting one-on-one with an admissions representative. Each Coffee Talk session runs for approximately 25 minutes, and you are able to indicate your availability via this registration link. An admissions representative will then contact you to confirm your on-site meeting time.

B.A./M.D. Campus Visit Day

The Campus Visit Day begins on the UMKC Volker Campus with an overview of UMKC and the BA/MD program and includes a tour of the Volker Campus. Students and families will then travel to the Hospital Hill Campus to interact with School of Medicine students and staff, and participate in hands-on activities related to medicine. Most activities will include parent participation, but bringing young children is not advised. The visit day concludes at 12:30 pm.

M.D. Program Information Session

This information session will allow students to gain an understanding about the traditional four year M.D. program, the medical school and the admissions process. The visit consists of an information session and tour of the School of Medicine. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the docent experience, academic and financial support, and will be provided with a good understanding of life as an M.D. student at UMKC. Visits will occur in small groups with other prospective applicants.

Restrictions: No for-profit schools are allowed to attend
