HeartCode Programs

Heartcode™ is the family of eLearning programs offered by the American Heart Association. HeartCode™ programs are online, self-directed courses that offer the ability to complete many AHA courses online, or through a blend of online and in-person skills practice and testing.

The YMSL offers HeartCode™ BLS in both a fully online/self-directed format, and a blended format with online learning and an in-person skills test. Skill testing with an AHA instructor may be scheduled for groups of six or more, and may also be scheduled throughout the year.

Self-directed skills testing with the voice-assisted manikins is available most times Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments are not required, but recommended to avoid being turned away.

HeartCode™ ACLS is offered with an online cognitive portion, and an in-person skills practice and testing format.

Heartsaver™ courses are available in the HeartCode™ format. Please contact the YMSL for specific details.
