  • Volker Campus Student Union, 4th floor – Room 401
  • 3-5:00 pm Student Poster Presentations
  • Schools participating include: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biological Sciences, Engineering and Arts & Science
  • Students should be prepared to give 3-5 minutes presentation to viewers –allow 5 minutes for questions.
  • Research Administration will put up SOM posters.

SOM Judging of Student Posters/Presentations

Students should check-in at the HSSRS registration table in the Student Union, 4th floor (5100 Cherry St.) before 3pm.

SOM students will be assigned specific times for their poster & presentation to be judged.

The SOM students presenting posters will be judged by SOM faculty.  Students will be judged by two faculty members and will be notified of your judging times. Awards are available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for the BA/MD students and 1st place for the post-graduate students.

2 pm Speaker, Wayne Carter, DVM, PhD, DACVIM President and CEO of KCALSI will speak at the Student Union’s Theater.

3-6 pm Student Poster Presentations

Schools participating include: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biological Sciences, Engineering and Arts & Science

Shuttle service (wheelchair accessible) available between Hospital Hill and Student Union 12:30 – 6:00 pm.

Students should be prepared to give 3-5 minutes presentation to viewers –allow 5 minutes for questions.

Research Administration will put up and take down SOM posters. Students will be responsible for coordinating with Office of Research Administration a pick-up time for their poster after the event.
