Description: The School of Medicine Associate of the Month award is a monthly recognition of an employee or associate for their exceptional service and commitment to the School of Medicine and its students.

Eligibility: This award is open to all School of Medicine faculty, staff, student employees, and employees associated with the School (campus facilities, employees of other departments but located at the School). Employees are only eligible to receive this award once each year.

Award:

• $50 gift to the UMKC bookstore
• Certification of achievement
• School of Medicine recognition

Nomination and Selection Process: Candidates can be nominated by faculty, staff, students, and affiliates of the School of Medicine. Please submit completed nomination for the Associate of the Month Nomination utilizing the form on this page.

The SOM Employee Recognition Committee will meet monthly to review all nominations and select awardee.
