Jonathon Metzl, M.D., Ph.D., ’90, a psychiatrist and author of the book, Prozac on the Couch, will be the keynote speaker for the 2011 Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society banquet at 5 p.m. on April 27 at the UMKC Student Center.
He will also meet with students on 8 a.m. on April 28 at the School of Medicine and present that day’s noon conference.
Faculty may purchase tickets for the AOA banquet for $14.95 per plate from Cheryl Jones in the Dean’s Office. Student members and one guest will be guests of the School.
