Radiology residents, Megan Seattele, MD, Kenny Rentas, MD and Suchit Patel, MD received Certificates of Merit for their poster exhibits presented at the International Society for Pediatric Radiology meeting in London, England.
The UMKC fellows, residents, medical students and faculty who co-authored the posters included neuroradiology fellow, Matt Sigley; UMKC SOM student AJ Spencer; KCUMB medical student, John Childs; and residents from other institutions.The two honored posters were the following: Saettele M., et al. Differentiation of congenital midline nasal masses: what the pediatric radiologist should know, and Spencer AJ et al. Modern imaging of pediatric appendicitis emphasizing pitfalls and radiation concerns.
