Meet Angela Bogle
Biography

Dr. Bogle was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, where most of her family still resides. After graduating from Luther College in 1999, she moved to Minneapolis, MN to pursue a career in research. She eventually returned to her true passion, and joined the class of 2005 at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She then graduated from the Emory University Emergency Medicine Residency Program in June 2008, after which she joined the UMKC-Truman staff as full time faculty.

In addition to working full time clinically, Dr. Bogle is serving as Website Coordinator and is also a member of the UMKC School of Medicine Council on Evaluation. Since joining TMC in 2008, Dr. Bogle has been awarded the Faculty Teacher of the Year award from the Children’s Mercy Pediatric Fellows in 2009 and has been named “Attending of the Quarter” numerous times by the TMC ED staff. Her interests include medical student, resident and EMS education, and her research interests are in improving the efficiency of our department while not sacrificing patient care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bogle enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and children, Jillian, Beau and Kaitlyn.
