Meet Lindsay Fazio

Lindsay Fazio, PhD joined the Department of Community and Family Medicine February of 2014.  Dr. Fazio is originally from central Illinois and completed her graduate work Indiana State University in 2008. She completed her residency on the south side of Chicago at St. James Hospital and Health Centers. Dr. Fazio teaches behavioral science and professionalism in the Family Medicine Residency Program on behavioral health rotation and professional development topics through didactics, experimental training, precepting, staffing cases, and OSCE’s in simulation center at UMKC School of Medicine. Dr. Fazio also provides psychological services to Bess Truman Family Medicine Center patients as well as on the inpatient medical units. Dr. Fazio clinical areas of are interests are in health psychology, postpartum depression, women’s health and integrative approaches to wellbeing. Research interests are on physician burnout and wellness.
