Meet Eric Johnson
Biography

Eric joined the UMKC Masters of Medical Science Physician Assistant program in July 2021 as program director. Eric’s carrier in PA education started in 2010 when he founded and became program director for the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics PA Fellowship in acute care medicine. He then founded the Stephens College PA program in 2015, and most recently was program director for the Dominican University PA program. He graduated from the University of Missouri –Columbia in 2006 and alter received his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University. Prior to entering PA education Eric’s clinical practice focused on critical care and emergency medicine. He is an active member of AAPA, and MOAPA having served as a MOAPA regional director and vice president. Outside of education Eric continues to have an interest in critical care medicine and clinical procedures.
