McCain joins Skills Lab as Standarized Patient Coordinator

Courtney McCain has joined the Youngblood Medical Skills Laboratory as the new coordinator of the Standardized Patient Program.

McCain joins the School of Medicine with multiple talents that will be put to use as the demands for skills and standardized patient programs continue to increase. Many of her life experiences will enhance the current Youngblood Medical Skills Lab services.

She is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and is currently pursing her registered nursing degree. She has also worked as a paramedic, a medical-surgery and critical care patient care technician at Saint Luke’s Hospital, and is an instructor in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

McCain also teaches and coaches gymnastics.
