It has been selected by the University Health System Consortium as one of the five top teaching hospitals in the nation in quality, alongside Mayo Clinic Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Modern Healthcare magazine placed University Health Truman Medical Center’s CEO John Bluford in the top one-third of its “Top 100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare.” Residents here provide care to patients with multiple, complex medical and social problems. Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City

Saint Luke’s Hospital is a tertiary care center nationally recognized for its work in cardiovascular disease and winner of the prestigious Baldrige Award for Healthcare Quality.
