The School of Medicine Student Research Office announced Ann Melookaran, MS 5, as the April 2011 recipient of the Sarah Morrison Student Research Awards.
Melookaran received this quarter’s student research award for her proposal, “Circulating Tumour Cells in Melanoma. Hitendra Patel, M.D., assistant professor of medicine and Blue 1 docent, will serve as Melookaran’s faculty mentor on the project.
The application deadline for the next round of Sarah Morrison Student Research Awards is June 1, 2011.
