Admissions Timeline


Fall Semester Admission

June 1: Application Deadline – International residents without an active visa

For international applicants without an active visa, the UMKC General Application for Admission is due by this date. All supporting documents must also be submitted by this date (this includes transcripts, test scores, goal statement, resume/CV, and letters of recommendation). Applications that become complete late will be reviewed on a space-available basis (may be deferred to the following semester) and incomplete applications will not be considered for admission.

August 1: Application Deadline – U.S. citizens/permanent residents and active visa holders

For domestic applicants and active visa holders, the UMKC General Application for Admission is due by this date. All supporting documents must also be submitted by this date (this includes transcripts, test scores, goal statement, resume/CV, and letters of recommendation). Applications that become complete late will be reviewed on a space-available basis (may be deferred to the following semester), and incomplete applications will not be considered for admission.

Ongoing: Offers of Admission are Extended

Applicants offered admission will be emailed the admissions decision. All decisions of the admissions committee are final.

August: Classes Begin

Students who have been offered admission for the fall semester and who have accepted the offer of admission will matriculate to the Master of Health Professions Education program in August.

Spring Semester Admission
