The American Society for Investigative Pathology recently recognized Agostino Molteni, M.D., Ph.D., director of student research and professor of pathology, for his service to the organization with a lifetime emeritus certificate of membership.
The society is a community of researchers studying the mechanisms of disease that serves as an advocate for the practice of investigative pathology. It is also a member of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.
Molteni has been part of the organization for 46 years. During his tenure with the group, Molteni has presented more than 370 research abstracts and mentored more than 1,000 students and residents who have presented at the organization’s meetings.
