University Health Truman Medical Center (UHTMC) provides a full array of acute care and outpatient services. In addition to Emergency Medicine and Trauma, UHTMC Hospital Hill is also noted for Asthma, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, Weight Management and Women’s Health. Women’s Health Services include high risk obstetric care, specialized gynecologic care, hysteroscopic and uterine sparing procedures. Patients can receive OB/GYN services and primary care, all in one location.

University Physician Associates

University Physician Associates (UPA), Hospital Hill Health Services Corporation, was founded in 1972 as a nonprofit corporation. UPA physicians provide the multi-specialty medical group faculty for the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine. UPA physicians conduct most of their teaching of students and residents at Truman Medical Centers.

Founded in 1971, University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine has always been ahead of the curve in training physicians. Our combined baccalaureate/medical degree program and our docent mentoring system have expertly prepared tomorrow’s physicians in unique and innovative ways.

UMKC is home to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which supports a fully accredited residency program and Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

Additionally, the UMKC School of Medicine offers the Master of Science in Bioinformatics. Fellows rotate through Bioinformatics to obtain graduate skills in clinical research methodology.
