Papasian appointed editor of American Society of Microbiology journal

Christopher Papasian, Ph.D.

Christopher Papasian, Ph.D., professor and chair of the School of Medicine’s Department of Basic Medical Science, has been appointed as an editor of Clinical and Vaccine Immunology, a monthly journal published by the American Society of Microbiology (ASB), beginning July 1.

Papasian has served on the editorial boards for ASB journals since 1996, the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, and Clinical and Vaccine Immunology. This is his first appointment as editor.

Papasian is course director for the School of Medicine’s Medical Microbiology course and serves as a microbiology consultant for Truman Medical Center.
