The School of Medicine is pleased to welcome Liza Wilson, Pharm.D., as a teaching assistant professor. She will take active roles in the self-paced pharmacology curriculum, the two-month Medicine 9408 course required of all 4th year students, and she will teach in the Physician Assistant Program.  Dr. Wilson will maintain a clinical practice at the Truman Medical Center–Lakewood campus in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Dr. Wilson completed her pre-pharmacy coursework at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the UMKC School of Pharmacy. She completed a postgraduate residency in Community Practice at the University of Mississippi-School of Pharmacy where she served as assistant clinical instructor.

Prior to joining the UMKC School of Medicine, she completed a residency in Ambulatory Care and Family Medicine from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences where she served as Clinical Instructor.
