Sirridge Office seeks creative works for Human Factor publication

HumanFactorThe Sirridge Office of Medical Humanities and Bioethics recognizes the important connection between medicine and the arts and its significant role in strengthening physician-patient relationships. The Human Factor is a publication that supports the “art” of medicine through showcasing creative works and sharing human experiences.

The Sirridge Office is currently seeking submissions a new edition of the Human Factor to be published later this year. UMKC Health Sciences students, faculty, alumni and staff are encouraged to submit original poetry, short stories, essays, photographs and art to be considered for publication.

A past issue of the Human Factor is posted on the SOM website.
