Two members of the School of Medicine faculty were recently initiated as new members of the UMKC Chapter of Merit in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Michele Kilo, M.D., ’84, associate professor of pediatrics, and Jennifer Martin, Ph.D., adjunct professor of medical humanities, received the honor during a ceremony on Nov. 10.
Charles Wurrey, UMKC chapter president and former chemistry professor, and William Everett, professor of Music and Dance at the UMKC Conservatory and chapter treasurer, presented the honors.
