The School of Medicine will have a reception for retiring Assistant Dean for Allied Health Programs, Rick Trullinger, Ph.D., from 3-4 p.m. on Oct. 12 in the Sirridge Medical Humanities Conference Room.
Trullinger joined the School of Medicine in 2006 and served for nearly three years as director of graduate medical education. He was appointed Assisted Dean for Allied Health Programs in 2009, also serves as the director of Continuing Medical Education and oversees the School’s Youngblood Medical Skills Lab. Before coming to UMKC, Trullinger served at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
During his tenure at UMKC, the School of Medicine has developed new programs for anesthesologist assistants and bioinformatics, and has seen a large growth in the utilization of its Youngblood Medical Skills Lab.
