Health Sciences Student Research Summit

The 10th annual UMKC Health Sciences Student Research Summit (HSSRS) will be a virtual online event the week of May 17th to 21st  2021.

The UMKC Health Sciences Research Summit enables members of the UMKC health sciences community to display poster or live PowerPoint presentations in a forum that:

  • Highlights the health sciences research being conducted in the UMKC Schools of Biological and Chemical Sciences, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Health Studies, Pharmacy, and Computing and Engineering;
  • Fosters research collaborations across disciplines and schools that will produce economic, health, education and quality-of-life benefits for the greater Kansas City community.

Registration is open for the event until May 13th 2021. Please go to https://redcap.umkc.edu/surveys/?s=TT3E9JWNHC to register.

There are two presentation formats, virtual asynchronous poster or a 7-minute live PowerPoint presentation.

There are four presentation categories. Please load your slides or poster to one of the following categories by May 13th 2021.

Undergraduate, BA MD, MD 1 to 4
Graduate, Masters, PhD, Resident, Fellow, MS 5 & 6
