Student Research Assistant Opportunity on Funded Research Project

General Summary: This is a funded opportunity for two to three medical students part-time on a research project examining lifestyle interventions for metabolic syndrome with Dr. Betty Drees. Student Research Assistants are responsible for recruiting and screening participants by phone according to the research study protocols and putting together recruitment mailings. Research Assistants can assist with epidemiological, social or behavioral assessments, and collect data and/or biological samples from research participants. This is an hourly position and work can be scheduled around student schedules (commitment of 3-5 hours on most weeks would be ideal).
