Two new staff members join Office of Medical Education

Two new staff members have joined the School of Medicine’s Office of Medical Education Support Services.

Angellar Manguvo is the new curriculum specialist. Manguvo holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining the SOM, Manguvo worked as an adjunct assistant professor in the College of Education, University of Missouri-Columbia. Manguvo, therefore, takes pride in continuing to be part of the University of Missouri System.

Manguvo is responsible for providing expertise and support for curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation; assisting with assessment of faculty development needs in education scholarship; teaching in formal and informal courses in health professions education; as well as assisting with the evaluation and assessment of academic programs within the School of Medicine.

Beth Frank
Beth Frank

Beth Frank joins the Office of Medical Education Support Services as a Database Programmer/Analyst. Frank is a graduate of the University of Kansas and has worked in several information technology departments including Kansas City companies, local and federal government, and higher education.

Frank provides data management functions to facilitate efficient data retrieval to assist with strategic planning, program and student assessment and for purposes of reporting on requirements of accreditations standards for all undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Medicine.
