About Our Department

Our department’s mission is to provide exceptional clinical care for patients with neurological disorders and to also provide basic and clinical neuroscience education for the next generation of physicians.

Neurology Education Programs

Neurology residency

Our residency features four years of comprehensive didactic and clinical training. Year 1 focuses on broad clinical experiences in the Internal Medicine Residency program, which is then followed by three years of intensive neurology-focused experiences at Saint Luke’s Hospital Kansas City, University Health Truman Medical Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
