Meet John Sand
Biography

Dr. Sand is Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and graduated in 1982.  He also completed his internal medicine internship, neurology residency, and neurology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Sand holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Neurology, American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Medical Association, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Metropolitan Medical Society, Missouri State Medical Association, and Kansas City Neurology/Neurosurgical Society. He has extensive experience in the field of clinical neurophysiology with an emphasis in the study of neuromuscular disorders. He also provides services in intra-operative monitoring.
