Biography

Dr. Tilson-Mallett is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Care. She joined the UMKC faculty as adjust professor in Internal Medicine. She is also an artist and is known for painting microscopic and biological images on silk. She also paints landscapes en pleine air, using oil paints or pastels. Her work has been exhibited and sold around the country. She is interested in the “healing arts,” of using visual imagery in healing. Her work can be viewed at http://www.artbyntm.com.
