After participating in Final Friday Medical Education Journal Club, faculty should be able to:

  • Discuss recent advances in medical education and medical education research
  • Identify and incorporate teaching resources in their educational practice
  • Identify, describe, and employ teaching concepts, including, but not limited to, curriculum design,
  • Teaching strategies, communication, and feedback/evaluation
  • Examine and revise personal approaches to teaching
  • Critically appraise medical education research
  • Develop scholarly projects in medical education
