Biography
In 2012, Dr. Myrick rejoined University Health Family Medicine Inpatient Service team, and the Laborist team on the UHLMC Birthplace unit. Dr. Myrick also serves in the Family Medicine Center. From 2023-2024, Dr. Myrick served as Core Faculty. Since 2021, Dr. Myrick has served as the Chairman of Board of Director for the Institute for International Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri.
From 1990-1991, 1999-2000, and again 2007-2008, Dr. Myrick was an Assistant Professor of Community and Family Medicine, for UMKC School of Medicine. During the years in between, Dr. Myrick and his family worked in various government hospitals and mission hospitals in Africa and the Middle East for 20 years. They continue travel internationally for short term mission trips and teaching medical missionaries.
Dr. Myrick enjoys running, playing guitar, and teaching medical students and residents.
