Hooding and Commencement Ceremony
About the Event
The UMKC School of Medicine hooding and commencement ceremony celebrates the achievements and graduation of students in our Master of Science in Anesthesia (MSA), Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant (MMS), Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE), and Medical Doctor (M.D.) programs. During the ceremony, which is a rite of passage into the medical profession, students receive their academic hoods, recite the Hippocratic Oath and listen to speakers as they prepare to enter the next phase of their medical educations and careers.
