Biography

Dr. Rosemergey was appointed as Chair of the Department of Community and Family Medicine and Associate Chief Medical Officer for University Health Lakewood Medical Center in 2022. Prior to that Dr. Rosemergey served as Vice Chair for the Department for several years, Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency and Medical Director of several of the departments’ clinics. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves on the Board of Trustees for American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation - Center for the History of Family Medicine.

Dr. Rosemergey has practiced Family Medicine for more than 30 years. Within Family Medicine she has focused on education, ambulatory care, the Patient-Centered Medical Home and population health/health systems management. Dr. Rosemergey has a passion for advocacy and professional development. She has been on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians for many years and now serves as Vice-President of the MAFP. She is honored to have been awarded the inaugural Outstanding Female Leader Award from the Missouri Society of the American College of Family Physicians in 2023. Her greatest honor has been caring for multi-generational families over many years and being a part of their personal health journeys.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rosemergey enjoys cooking healthful dishes and reading as well as being outdoors, especially lake time with family and friends.
