Biography

 In 2024, Dr. Nguyen joined University Health Lakewood Medical Center. Dr. Nguyen practices as a primary care physician in our UH Lakewood Pavilion, laborist for UHLMC Birthplace and hospitalist at UHLMC.

Dr. Nguyen chose to go into Family Medicine with Obstetrics because she is passionate about providing full spectrum family medicine; providing care to the whole family throughout each phase of a patient’s life. Dr. Nguyen provides evidence-based care with patient collaboration to make the best health decision. She has special interests in maternity and pediatric care and women’s health. Being born and raised in Kansas City and even born at University Health; she has a special interest in providing back to her community.

Outside of medicine her family is her biggest passion. Dr. Nguyen has a 5 year old daughter named Evelyn who is a big dancer and loves gymnastics. Dr. Nguyen tries to maintain work life balance as best as possible in order to be the most present with her husband and daughter. Along with family she enjoy cooking and love exploring new cuisines or the newest restaurants in KC or when travelling.
