Biography
Dr. Bandzar is an Ivy League–trained, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician. He graduated at the top of his class in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech before earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed his residency at the world-renowned NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, training at both Weill Cornell Medical Center and Columbia University Medical Center.
His academic interests center on epidemiology and injury prevention, and his research has been published in several high-impact journals. Notably, his study on pediatric tricycle injuries, published in Pediatrics, received national media attention and was featured in an interview with CNN.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bandzar enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with his family.
