Biography
Dr. Cook is originally from Springfield Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri for undergrad and obtained a degree in Biology. He spent the next year working as an EMT, and then eagerly returned to Mizzou for medical school. During his final year in medical school he met his now fiancé Sara, who is currently in ‘Ophthalmology residency in Kansas City. They both loved the idea of living and working in Kansas City and were overjoyed when he matched to residency at Truman Medical Center for residency. During his 2nd year of residency Dr. Cook developed an interest in point of care ultrasound and decided to pursue an ultrasound fellowship. During his final year of residency Dr. Cook served as a chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in Clinical Ultrasound at the University of Kansas, and returned to University Health TMC as faculty. His personal interests include exploring Kansas City, reading, music, and hiking.
