Biography

Amber joined the UMKC staff in 2013. Over the past decade, she has been privileged to be a part of the University of Missouri System in various capacities, evolving from office support at the School of Dentistry and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences to student support specialist, and ultimately stepping into the role of program coordinator at the School of Medicine. These roles have not only contributed to her professional growth but have also provided profound insights into the realms of student support and academic administration. What Amber finds inspiring about working in these roles is that she has an indirect hand in providing her community with the utmost quality of healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys playing outside in any capacity with her two children.
