Biography

Katie graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in religious studies in 2018. After graduation she spent five years as a college advisor with both the Missouri College Advising Corps and the Kansas State College Advising Corps before transitioning to a school counselor role at a local elementary school. While she enjoyed her time as a counselor, she found herself missing the post-secondary environment. Katie is excited to be at UMKC, where she can continue her work in the college realm.
