Biography
In 2021, Dr. Kraemer was appointed Course Director, Professions I and Professional Development; for UMKC MMS-PA Program at UMKC School of Medicine. In 2018, Dr. Ed Kraemer was appointed as Medical Director of the MMS-PA Program for UMKC School of Medicine. Since 2016, Dr. Kraemer has also been faculty attending at UMKC Sojourner Student-run Free Clinic.
Dr. Kraemer's community involvement includes active participation in the Wellness Commission in Lee's Summit and Jackson County Public Health's community health improvement initiatives. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Academy of Family Physicians.
With an eye on retiring in 2026, Dr. Kraemer wrote the article, "Prepare Well to Retire Well," which was published in the Missouri Family Physician Magazine in May 2024. Dr. Kraemer also enjoys family time, bicycling, swimming, iPhone photography, and yoga.
