Biography

Courtney Znamenacek is a dedicated anesthesia professional with a passion for both her clinical work and educating future anesthetists. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) in 2012, she pursued a Master's in Anesthesia, completing the program at UMKC in 2015. She began her Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) career at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she worked from 2015 to 2017, followed by a tenure at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, from 2017 to 2021. Since 2021, Courtney has been working as an AA at Liberty Hospital. Courtney has also been a clinical preceptor since 2016, demonstrating her commitment to teaching. In 2022, she expanded her role in education by becoming an adjunct assistant professor at UMKC, where she now serves as the Clinical Coordinator for the Master of Science in Anesthesia (MSA) program. Through her work, Courtney continues to cultivate her love for anesthesia and her dedication to training the next generation of anesthetists.
