Biography

Dr. Odibo is a Professor and Chair of the UMKC department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Health.

Dr. Odibo completed his medical school training at the University of Benin Medical School in Benin, Nigeria. He later went on to obtain an MSCE in Clinical Epidemiology from the Center of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as a Research Fellow at the Harris Birthright Centre for Fetal Medicine at Kings College Hospital in London, UK, as well as a Clinical Fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Instructor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Odibo completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Odibo has a passion for treating high-risk patients and a keen interest in Maternal Fetal Medicine, High-Risk Obstetrics and clinical research. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on a wide range of Obstetrics & Gynecological topics, and has authored chapters in Obstetrics & Gynecology textbooks on hypertension in pregnancy and in-utero growth failure.
