Biography

Brian J. Divelbiss, MD, joined Dickson-Diveley Midwest Orthopaedic Clinic, P.A., in 2001 after completing a hand and microvascular fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. He became president and CEO of the 14-doctor group in January 2012.
He is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, also in Iowa City. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army, including stops at Fort Riley, Kan.; Fort Rucker, Ala.; and Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash.
Dr. Divelbiss completed his undergraduate studies at Westmar College, Le Mars, Iowa, earning a bachelor of arts in Biology and Natural Sciences, summa cum laude, in 1986.
