Biography

Having received his M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1981, and completing his orthopaedic residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 1987, Dr. Maeda went on to do a fellowship in spine surgery at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center. He then returned to Kansas City in 1989 and has been actively involved in spine surgery at all three of our hospitals. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
