Biography

Dr. Lan Fotopoulos is a physiatrist with fellowship training in musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Fotopoulos is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine, and Sports Medicine. He graduated from UMKC School of Medicine in 1992. He did a surgical internship at Creighton in 1992-1993 and was an anesthesiology resident at KU in 1993-1994. He worked as an emergency medicine physician from 1994-1997. Dr. Fotopoulos served in the US Navy from 1997 to 2000. He completed his Physiatry residency training at KU in 2003. After his Musculoskeletal Medicine, Sports, and Spine Procedures fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, he joined Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 2004.
