Biography

Dr. Hamidpour received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and finished an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the same University. She then immigrated to United States and finished an internship in internal medicine in Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago in 2002. Afterwards, she finished her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency and Cytopathology fellowship at the University of Kansas from 2003-2008. Upon graduation, she worked as a pathologist in private practice for over 6 years and joined University Health/University of Missouri in Kansas City in 2015.

She’s currently the Pathology Course Director, Pathology Elective director, and Medical Director of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

At work, she enjoys problem solving, interaction with the students, residents, clinicians, department and hospital personnel, and facilitating patient care by making accurate diagnosis.

She loves animals, her favorite being baby goats, and enjoys singing, music, watching sports and walking in the nature.
