Biography

I have been affiliated with UMKC School of Medicine for more than 10 years. I graduated from the UMKC combined AP/CP Pathology residency training program. I moved out of state for just one year in order to do my fellowship in cytopathology. I returned immediately after graduation to take a faculty /staff position at UMKC Pathology department where I serve as an associate professor, a residency program director, a staff pathologist and cytopathologist. I am the director of Point of Care and director of Cytopathology subdivisions. I absolutely love working at UMKC/University Health. I enjoy all aspects of my work including the diversity, the collegial environment, the vast opportunities for research and teaching and the privilege to serve as an educator and mentor for the next generation of pathologists.
