Biography

Petra joined the UMKC School of Medicine in 2010 after completing her Master of Arts in English at Emporia State University. She is currently the Manager for Career Services, and enjoys helping students through the process of specialty selection and residency application. Her research interests include equality in medical education, experiences of first-generation-in-medicine students, and national trends in the residency application process. In her free time, she enjoys reading, tabletop games, and bicycling.
