Biography

Petra joined the UMKC School of Medicine in 2010 after completing her Master of Arts in English at Emporia State University. She is currently the Manager for Career Services, and enjoys helping students through the process of specialty selection and residency application. Her professional involvement focuses on improving the applicant experience and medical school support for the residency match and away rotation processes, and other professional interests include student belonging, identity development, and national trends in the residency application process. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, and bicycling.
