STAHR Program and Saturday Academy
Discover the Students Training in Academia, Health and Research (STAHR) Partnership program, which is designed to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds enter healthcare programs and prepare for success. Or, learn more about Saturday Academy, a free program offered to high school students that exposes them to various healthcare careers by providing hands-on learning experiences while also improving their study techniques and test-taking strategies.

Our Vision and Mission
Vision — to address the importance of inclusive excellence in supporting the recruitment, retention, persistence and success of all people and backgrounds at the UMKC School of Medicine. Mission — to create strategic initiatives and programs that build community and champion inclusive excellence to support the learning, clinical and research environments for graduate and medical students, residents, fellows, staff and faculty.
