Our residents are a crucial part of our department, helping us provide exceptional care to patients at four area hospitals. As such, they’re exposed to comprehensive clinical training, a strong didactic program and regular simulation training designed to help them become exceptional medical professionals. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) programs

We partner with the EMS section of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Truman Medical Center to offer programs in pre-hospital life support education. These classes give EMS personnel the opportunity to maintain their licenses and national certifications, and are approved by the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
