One-Time Career Counseling
Objective
Individual faculty career consultations and CV review and advising are available to faculty at all academic ranks to enhance the effectiveness of their CVs, and to strategize for career advancement and promotion. Most commonly, faculty request a meeting to strategize for promotion success and determine readiness.
Components of the Program
- 1-2-hour sessions available throughout the year on a first come, first serve basis
- Meet one-on-one with the Associate Dean for Professional Development to discuss opportunities, promotion, how to strengthen your CV and progress in your professional career.
Requirements
- Complete a brief online request to meet
- Provide your current CV along with your request (meetings will not be scheduled unless included)
- Meetings are available throughout the year on a first come, first serve basis and can be in-person or virtual.
Coaching Session
- After your session, you should be able to develop SMART goals to further your progression and academic fulfillment
- You will be directed to consider applying to the longitudinal program for on-going mentoring.
