Benefits

Most UMKC residents and fellows are considered to be University of Missouri system (UM System) employees. As such, they have access to the same benefits package as regular UM System faculty and staff. Center for Behavioral Medicine

Like most other residents and fellows, PGY-1 psychiatry residents are employed by the UM system. However, PGY-2 through PGY-4 psychiatry residents will transition to a mixed-employment model, in which residents may be employed by either UMKC or Missouri Department of Mental Health (MO DMH), Center for Behavioral Medicine (CBM).
