Professionalism Workshops

The Office of the Learning Environment provides professionalism education along with their Expect Respect workshops addressing mistreatment. Professionalism workshops are also given to all residents and fellows at orientation and then every other year for residency programs. Additionally, professionalism education is provided at medical school orientations for year-1 B.A./M.D. students and M.D.-only students, and is repeated at year 3 and year 5 orientations. 

Compassion and Emotional Contagion Workshops

Compassion and Emotional Contagion Workshops are offered to year 3 students. The Compassion Workshop aims to cultivate empathy and compassion in patient care, while the Emotional Contagion Workshop focuses on the impact of emotions and moods in clinical settings, emphasizing the importance of emotional awareness and regulation.
