Electives
Truman Medical Center and Saint Luke’s Hospital are committed to providing undergraduate medical education experiences through the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Residents, fellows and faculty serve as preceptors for students during their four-week sub-internship rotations.
We offer electives in:- High Risk Obstetrics (Maternal-Fetal Medicine)
- Urogynecology

Please note: our sub-internship opportunities enhance, but may not guarantee, an interview with the UMKC OB/GYN residency. We do highly suggest completing your sub-internship with us prior to the residency interview season.
Saint Luke’s Hospital Acceptance Requirements
Saint Luke’s Hospital only accepts students from UMKC, Kansas City University-Medicine (KCU) and International students from SABA University School of Medicine. KCU students should work with their home school electives coordinator to schedule elective rotations.
